Well, I haven't gotten to see this anime, or even touch the manga, but I have been able to find out a bit about Clamp's redhaired swordswinger.
Kenshin is fairly young, as the pics show, and had killed for what he considered the right idea. Eventually, though, he began to think otherwise, and soon grew tired of the killing and wanted to settle down.
Obviously, he isn't managing to lead too much in the way of a normal life. He's quite popular with two girls, whether he likes it or not, and seems to be constantly fighting a man who looks like a relative of Zolf from The Slayers.
