Hitomi Kanzaki 15 year old Hitomi Kanzaki is your average Japanese high school student. She is the oldest child in the family, the youngest being her brother. She lives with both her parents. She is a member of her high school's track team and her best friend, Yukari, is the team coach. She has an unusal interest in fortune telling using tarot card readings. She also has a crush on an upperclassman, Amano, who is the star runner on the track team. She led a quiet and normal life until that fateful day where she met Van and was drawn into the mysterious but beautiful world of Gaea, a world where both the earth and the moon hang over the sky. While stranded on Gaea, she discovers that she actually has the power to foretell the future. These vision come to her randomly and they also come to her when she needs them too. This causes her emotional distress since the visions she has are horrible and she would not want to see those visions to ever come true. She also finds herself falling in love with Allen which makes her question her feelings for Amano back on earth. She later discovers that she is actually in love with Van. Her honest and caring personality is what draws people to her, often making friends out of enemies. |

Van Fanel Recently crowned King of Fanelia, 15 year old Van is the youngest of the two Fanel siblings. He is half Gaean and half Atlantian, bearing the characteristic of having huge angel-like wings. His father,Goau Fanel had died of illness and his mother,Varie Fanel, vanished will searching for her eldest son, Folken Fanel. Although he seems to be tough on the exterior, he is really a fragile person that was forced to live a life where he has to fight but doesn't want to. He holds back when he is fighting but once he lets himself go he becomes hothead and rash. He finds himself admiring Hitomi for the great powers of premonition she exhibits but later on it develops into something more than just admiration. |

Allen Schezar 21 year old Allen Schezar is part of the Knights Caeli, which is an elite group of the Royal Knights of Asturia. He is an excellent swordsman and melef pilot. He also has had a complicated and hard life. He is resentful toward his father, Leon Schezar, who had left him and his family at a very young age. His mother, Encia Schezar, died after the disappearance of his sister, Celena Schezar. As an adolencent teen he was a cocky rogue, often getting into sword fights. A chance encounter with Balgus makes him realize that he has lots more to learn about sword fighting, humblness and about life in general. He becomes a student of Balgus and that is how he ended up in his present situation. He had a secret relationship with one of King Aston's eldest daughter, Marlene Aston. He is Chid's true father. He resembles Amano from earth which causes mixed feelings from Hitomi. He is fascinated by Hitomi and finds himself falling in love with her. |
