Sample 1.
vaQ sat back and closed the Universal comm transponder aboard the ship. It had worked great in the past and was paying off now. They had stolen it from a klingon listening post years agoe.
She went back to Jaxx's quarters, One would never expect so lavish a setting. Rare cloths and tapestries decorated the walls. Vases and urns of ancient make, some possible priceless, but too hot to sell. He sat on an over stuffed chair swishing as glass of romulan ale, as he watched the hanger activities through the porthole. he did not turn to look as she enterd. "Did you stash the crews weapons?"
"Yes....You never did say what went on with Hawk." She came up from behind and massaged his shoulders. It was a few moments before he responded.
"We're gonna do a haul for him." He took a short drink from his glass.
"Hmmm.......hawk offerd you a job?"
"Yeh, not so much an offer as a suggestion, but he didn't ask for collateral this time...........Had a heavy there but i don't think he meant it."
"What do you mean?"
Jaxx pictured Cain in his mind. " that Cain fellow, He's related to the high mucky muck on this station, Hawk wants me to belive that they are best of friends..........but those eyes...."
"HUH?"
"His eyes......Cains eyes that is, they said different, they said he'd rather not be there,. He looked over at Hawk a few times and i swore i saw disgust." "Maybe things arn't exactly kosher on the Hawks Folly." "Maybe...........Maybe.."
vaQ waited till she was sure he had finished. "there was a shipment of photon torpedeos today, the new ones." She had his full attention
"Realy!, now that is news, did they say how many?"
vaQ just smiled.
"Well vaQ, things realy are looking up i would say. Hahahaha......ahhh.. looking up....yes they are." He could not stop the chuckeling. and he approached the porthole again. He was happy again, opportunity had knocked. vaQ left, she could still hear him laughing as the door slid shut. Finaly things were getting back to normal
Posts must follow a few simple rules, which are outlined below: The subject line of your email must follow the format adopted by your dutystation. An example would be: DQHQ: A new beginning...., where DQHQ stands for Delta Quadrant Head Quarters Mission Story and the name of the post. Other dutystations use variations of this form. Check with your CO / XO for the proper headings for both duty and non-duty posts.
Out of character remarks made in the message should be at the top or bottom, and marked with "NRPG" (Non Role Playing Game). If you put NRPG remarks at the top of your post, make sure to put "RPG" (Role Playing Game) when you are ready to begin your role-playing. Occasionally, NRPG remarks are interspersed throughout the post, such as {Resno's reply}. Check with your CO / XO for the method used on your dutystation for such comments. Posts should be written in 3rd person, although an occasional 1st person reference is acceptable. Past or present tense may be used. Posts should be sent to the dutystation list server. Any email corrections should be given to your CO / XO to be forwarded to the List server Administrator. Postings should be made at least once every three days, although more frequent posting in not discouraged. Check with your CO / XO concerning posting frequency for your dutystation.
