The Spice Girls were the first all Girl Group to have
gone into the UK number one slot, not once, not twice, not three times,
but four times!
Their first single, Wannabe, was an instant smash hit followed by Say You'll Be There and then the 1996 Christmas number one: Two Become One. And again they made a great new video, this time of their single Spice Up Your Life. Their second album, Spice World, came out in November 1997 and sky-rocketed through charts worldwide. This was then followed by the release of Too Much in mid December, which failed to attain the number one position like Mama and Who Do You Think You Are
On Boxing Day of 1997, the girls released their first movie "Spice World",
which the album "Spice World" takes it's name and many of it's songs from.
Proving once again that a great movie does not necessarily need a big budget.
