· Profile and Brief History: Team 7's Chang, fearing IO's sinister plans, sent his son into hiding while he was still an infant. Raised in Seattle, Percival Edmund soon became known as "Grunge," an all-American slacker who knew little about his father. Invited to take part in IO's Project Genesis program, Grunge soon found out he was in a prison-like breeding ground for Gen-Actives. Grunge, however hadn't a firm discipline and kept annoying the whole staff of the project, always refusing to conduct the experiments he was supposed to. The worst of it was the he didn't like much the food they served there, so he secretly was eating from an alternative source (mostly ice cream), after finding the blind points of the cameras. Since the food was drugged with gen-triggers, he was the last to reveal his powers, only after seeing Freefall in danger. Manifesting his powers, he escaped with his new teammates, the Gen13. Grunge is a skate/surf rat and enjoys spending his afternoons sleeping in or trying to find what Fairchild is doing. Although he lives in a beach house with three beautiful superwomen, only Freefall appreciates him for who he really is, a slovenly, cold-pizza eating party animal with a photographic memory. The one thing he's proud is his tattoo of a skull and two wings on his chest and his favorite hobbies seem to be console games and girls. He has a sort of relationship with Freefall, but it has not been developed yet.

· Powers/Abilities: Grunge has the power to mimic the molecular structure of any material, organic or inorganic, he touches. This means all or any part of his body can transform into stone, metal, water or even rubber for instance. On one occasion when Grunge was shot, he simply spit the flattened bullets out and got back up again. He has also demonstrated a limited ability to transform other people as well. He is naturally fit and has brown belts in Aikido, Kempo Karate, Jujitsu, Tae Kwon Do, and Kung Fu.
