Lightsabers tend to follow a similar basic structure, although many are very individualized my their Jedi builders. While the pure energy blade has no mass, the electormagnetically generated arc wave creates a strong gyrospic effect that makes the lightsaber a ditint callenge to handle. Operating on the complex pirinciple of tightly controlled ar-wave energy, it requires focusing elements made from naturally-occuring crystals that cannot be synthesized. A lightsaber must by assembled by hand, as there is no exact formula for the crucial alighnment of the irregular crystals. A Lightsaber is a delicate weapon. Made of Jewels, a lightsaber is made to fit a Jedi. Jedi lightabers are usually blue and green whereas a Sith lightsaber is red. However, colors may vary depending on the Gems and Jewels used. For example: Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Mara Jade Skywalker, Nomi Sunrider, and Vima-Da-Boda all used blue blades. Luke Skywalker and Qui-Gon Jinn used green blades. Darth Vadar and Darth Maul used red blades. However, Leia Organa Solo used a red blade and a purple blade. Ki-Adi-Mundi and Kyp Durron also used Purple blades. Tenel Ka used the Gems of Gallonaro and got a turquoise blade. Exar Kun was a sith who used a blue blade. Lightsaber handles are generally made of metals but other substances can be used. In Tenel Ka's case she used a Rancor's Tooth. A lightsaber is generally one sided but again this may vary. For both Exur Kun and Darth Maul had two ended lightsabers.
