Gohan, pictured left

Son Gohan is the oldest of Gokou's two sons. He started training with Piccolo when he was small and very quickly generated the passion to fight, just like his father Gokou. One unique thing about Gohan is that he has this hidden power inside him, energy far beyond all the other Z Soilders ever expected. The energy is released when anger strikes him, it was first noticed when Gohan found out much of this friends are killed, including Piccolo, and the pain and sadness inside him caused Gohan to release this great power.

The Gohan we see, also has two different futures, just like Trunks. The original future, Gohan lost his left arm during his first encounter with the Andriods 17 and 18. Later on when the Androids came back, he was eventually killed by them. However, the modified future (when Trunks travelled back in time and changed the future), after the intense battles during the Cell Era, and the Majin Era, he went back to school and continued on his studies. The reason he went back to study because of the high demand from his mum, Chi Chi. She always wanted Gohan and Goten to study and not to become bad and influenced by other people. Furthermore, she is afraid that her sons might get killed during battles, hence she doesn't want them to fight, and just to live an ordinary life like everyone else.

Eventually, Gohan comes a bachelor and marries his highschool sweetheart, Videl. They have a daughter called Pan.
