2135
In tenth grade, Trip lived only a few blocks from the Vulcan compound and even had a Vulcan biology teacher, Mr. Velik.

2139
Mr. Tucker became Cadet Tucker when he entered Starfleet.

2143
Trip met Jonathan Archer, they fast became good friends.

2147
Trip got nitrogen narcosis during an Omega training mission on Titan when his EV pack froze up. He tried to remove his helmet but was ordered to keep it on by Jonathan Archer. That would be the first time Jonathan saved Trip's life.

2151
He was assigned to first warp 5 capable starship, Enterprise NX-01, under command of his good friend, Jonathan Archer.

Trip became the first human to become pregnant with an alien child and the first human male to become pregnant, ever. While playing a mind-reading game with a Xyrillian female named Ah'len, her DNA was inadvertently transferred and he became pregnant. He hid his new nipples on his wrist by wearing a bandage and was allowed by the captain to wear civilian clothes to hide his 'bulge'. The Enterprise made contact with the Xyrillian ship a second time in order to have the very healthy, female, fetus removed. Trip was mildly relieved when Dr. Phlox told him the embryo carried none of his DNA, that he was just a carrier.

Commander Tucker was part of the away team captured at the Vulcan temple of P?Jem by the Andorians.

While on an away mission to test the targeting scanners on Shuttlepod One, Trip and Malcolm are stranded when a surge of unknown energy disables their sensor array and com system. When they make their early arrival at the rendezvous point and find Enterprise isn't there to pick them up, they find debris on a passing asteroid. The two men are shocked to find a hull fragment that is unmistakably a piece of Enterprise. Assuming the worst and with only ten days of oxygen, Tucker sets a course for Echo Three, though all the oxygen will be depleted by then. Reed records some final farewell letters, the two of them enjoy a bottle of Kentucky bourbon, a present that Captain Archer had hidden in the shuttle. When they hear a crackling voice come through and realize it's Hoshi, knowing there's no way to make it to the new rendezvous co-ordinates without running out of air first, they opt to eject the pod;s impulse engine set to self distruct. It was enough of a bang that Enterprise noticed and went to retrieve the two, very cold crewmen.

2152
He and fellow crew mate, Malcolm Reed, were mugged and left in their underwear while visiting the pleasure planet, Risa.

Upon leaving the Enolian homeworld in a shuttlepod, Archer and Tucker are mistakenly arrested and placed on a prisoner transport vessel bound for the penal colony Canamar. When Trip rescues an alien woman, Kaitaama of Krios Prime, from her kidnappers, they find themselves on the run from her captors. Trip is located when Archer holds one of the alien kidnappers captive on Enterprise and devises a scheme with T'Pol;s help to pressure the reluctant prisoner to help them locate the Chief Engineer.

2153
When Enterprise meets an alien race known as the Vissians, Trip meets with one of the crew known as "Cogenitor." Disgruntled by the way the Vissians treat the Cogenitor because his gender is different, Trip takes it upon himself to teach him to read and study science and history. However, Trip's efforts don't go unnoticed by the Vissians, and he is forbidden to return to their ship. T'Pol chastises the engineer for jeopardising Captain Archer's chances of carrying off a successful first contact. However, the situation is complicated when the Cogenitor boards Enterprise and asks to stay with Trip.

When Doctor Phlox's home planet, Denobula, is threatened by "seismic anomolies" a Denobulan geologist finds a planet with a similar geographical profile that would enable the Denobulan people to flee to. Trip has been sent by the Denobulans to bring back their geologist who is on a suitable planet inhabited by the Xemians, but he refuses to leave, saying that the future of his people depends on his results and that he needs another three weeks to complete his work.
