Overview - The Imperial fleet has thousands and thousands of fighters in its' use. These
fighters basically do everything for the empire. They do recon, attack, bombing, defense
and several other duties. Most Imperial fighters do not have Hyperdrive and deflector shields.
They rely on large numbers and their superior maneuverability to destroy the enemy. Th
most used Imperial fighter series is the Tie (Twin Ion Engines) series.

The basic Imperial fighter is the Tie Fighter (above). It has a twin laser cannon in the "chin"
of the cockpit and two solar panels to give it power. Two Ion engines power this fighter from
the "back" of the cockpit. Other Tie models include the Tie Interceptor, the Tie Bomber,
the Tie Advanced and the Tie Defender.
