{GRAND MARCH}
The junior class is proud to announce the king and queen of our prom. These two lucky seniors were chosen by the junior class.
Simon Harriet, please step forward to be crowned king of the prom. Simon, son of Felecie and Mike Harriet, is certainly a polite gentleman. He is a member of National Honor Society and is a leader by example. Under his quiet demeanor, he has a great sense of humor. Simon is well-liked by everyone and is a good friend to many people.
Tatum Bolinger, please step forward to be crowned queen of the prom. Tatum, the daughter of Kim and Shelly Bolinger, has a positive outlook on life, and she always smiles like everyday is a good day to be alive. She uses her artistic and athletic talents to represent Buffalo High School and make all of us proud of her. Tatum is a very kind person who is fun to be with.
A special thanks goes out to Mandi Paulson, Juli Hansen, Corey Ruby, and Gretchen Wollmuth for undertaking the immense task of coordinating the prom. Also, we thank the junior class for providing the constant effort and work that is needed to complete this prom on time. And, of course, we thank all of you who joined us tonight and those who viewed the prom earlier today.
Congratulations to Simon and Tatum. You have the privilege of leading off the prom by sharing the first dance together.
All of you who joined us for the grand march may now exit through the south doors of the gym. Everyone who is going to enter the prom may proceed through the north doors into the auditorium.
