Gareee's Amiga Pictures

I've been doing computer generated art for years, and finally decided I need to have some of my history here as well. I used an Amiga and Deluxe Paint (still my favorite animation program) for many many years. (Before that, I used an atari 800) I'd LOVE to move my atair 800 pics to the pc (if someone has the hardware I'd need) But these amiga pics will have to tempt you for now.. Enjoy!

This was one of the first time I used a video digitizer. Of course, I needed good subject matter.. ;) Way back in high school, I was really into flourecent colors.. that seemed like a good motif for my first digital self portrait!

This was one of my first HIGH RES picture off the amiga. and it had all of 16 COLORS! Amazing!! (Well, it WAS back then.. ;) Another early graphic attempt.. this looked pretty good with the lights out, and the monitor brightness turned up.. it kinda looses something now...

Again, another carry over from yesteryear. This was based on a painting I did for my mom back in high school.. I should digitize the original for comparison now.. This was a very popular pic I did somewhere around 1984-87. it was useing some of the newer stuff deluxe paint 5 did...

This was a cartoon take on SuperStar Television, a attraction I worked at in the Disney MGM studios.. the original was animated for our 1995 area party, with a cream pie splatting on the building. This was also from a animation for that same area party.. a big godzilla came up behind the building (Monster Sound Show), and stepped on it! Both pics have color cycling animation.. or at least HAD before technology got "better".

Another "popular" old amiga pic.. even the cleveland institute of art liked this one! (I set up their whole first computer dept. circa 1983) They all wanted a copy of her.. ;) This was for a gal who broke my heart about 5 years ago.. it was a way of saying goodbye.. it's still for you, Beverly.. (sniff)

This one is a combo pic, which was a present for another girlfreind, Karen. (another heart breaker in the end) It called Poomba Riders, Next Generation, and is a combination of the Wolf Riders from Elfquest, Poomba from Lion King, and Star Trek, Next Generation... I really liked that gal, too.. (another sigh)

This was for a T-shirt iron on.. I digitized this from space ghost C-C, cleaned it up into a drawing, and then painted in the colors. It was the last graphic I did on my amiga computer (so far) ;) The t-shirt iron on, BTW came out GREAT!
