Taken in May 1999, while the STS-96 mission was in orbit for the second International Space Station mission.
I wanted to get a few shots of Mir before it's abandoned and then de-orbited.   Don't knock the Russians.   From Feb. 1986 to August 1999 humanity had a continuous presence in space!   When will we be able to say that again?

Shot on Fujicolor 100 ISO film. Nikkor 55mm at f1.2, 5 sec. exposure
