The Arc de Triomphe

In the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle-Étoile.   Twelve avenues, including he Champs Élysées, radiate from the ten lane traffic circle around the Arc.   You don't dare cross the circle on foot, you take an underground passage to the Arc.
