Northwest from the Eiffel Tower.
Across the Seine, the curved buildings and fountain area in front of them, is the the Trocadero. The tall buildings clumped on the horizon are in the area called La Défense, the only area where skyscrapers can be built since the Tour Montparnasse was finished in 1973.
