In 2246, James Tiberius Kirk, at age 13, was one of nine surviving eyewitnesses to the massacre of some 4,000 colonists at planet Tarsus IV by Kodos the Executioner.  James Kirk's first post was the U.S.S. Farragut. In 2263 He assumed command of the Constitution Class Starship U.S.S. Enterprise. In 2269 was promoted to Admiral. In 2271 he returned to take command of the U.S.S. Enterprise during VGER encounter. In 2282 Kirk met and fell in love with Antonia. In 2284 he returned to Starfleet Academy as an instructor. Kirk always the maverick was willing to risk all for friends and family. . To save his friend Spock he along with his command crew stole the U.S.S. Enterprise to rescue Commander Spock's body from the planet Genesis in 2285. He not only recovered the body of Spock but he found him alive due to the Genesis effect. Kirk did pay a large price for his efforts he lost his son David and also destroyed the Enterprise. In 2286 was demoted back to Captain after he disobeyed a direct order from superiors.
