Spock

Computer records establish that as of 2267, Spock had earned the Vulcanian Scientific Legion of Honor, and had twice been decorated by Starfleet Command. ("Court Martial" [TOS]). We conjecture that Spock was born in 2230, and that he graduated from Starfleet Academy in 2253. We believe that Spock began serving aboard the original Enterpdse in 2252, based on his statement that he had served under Captain Pike for over 11 years, and that Pike apparently concluded his stint on the Enterpdse in 2263 ("The Menagerie" [TOS]). Accordingly, it seems that Spock served his first year on the Enterpdse while still an academy cadet. Spock apparently does have a first name. It has never been established, although he once told Leila Kalomi that "you couldn't pronounce it" ("This Side of Paradise" [TOS]). Amanda told Kirk that she could pronounce Sarek's family name after many years of practice ("Journey to Babel" [TOS]).

Spock's marriage: In "Sarek" (TNG), Picard mentioned that he attended the wedding of Sarek's son. There was no specific time reference to peg the date of this event, but Picard mentioned that hewas a "young lieutenant" at the time. This would seem to suggest the wedding took place sometime between 2327 (when Picard graduated from the academy) and 2333 (when Picard took command of the Stargazer, and was therefore apparently a captain). Although the episode did not make clear if this son was Spock, Gene Roddenberry indicated that he was sure it was. This view is supported by Picard's mention in "Unification, Part I" (TNG) that he had met Spock once prior to that episode. It was not made clear if Spock was still married at the time of "Unification."

Spock was last seen as a Federation ambassador working undercover for Vulcan-Romulan reunification on Romulus in "Unification, Part II" (TNG), (2368). We do not know of his fate beyond that point. A summary of what we do know:

2237: Betrothed to T'Pring ("Amok Time" [TOS]).

2249: Enters Starfleet Academy, alienating his father ("Journey to Babel" [TOS])

2252: First serves aboard the Enterpdse ('The Menagerie" [TOS]).

2253: Graduates from Starfleet Academy (conjecture).

2267: Experiences pon farr, but is rejected by T'Pring ("Amok Time" [TOS])

2270: Retires from Starfleet (Star Trek: The Motion Picture).

2271: Returns to Starfleet (Star Trek: The Motion Picture).

2277: Promoted to captain, teaches at academy (Star Trek I: The Wrath of Khan).

2285: Dies, but is reborn at Genesis Planet (Star Trek I: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock).

2368: Working undercover on Romulus for Vulcan/Romulan reunification ("Unification, Parts I and II" [TNG]).
