Deanna Troi

Deanna Troi. The computer bio screen in Conundrum (TNG) suggests that Troi was born in 2336. We have established that Deanna Troi's father, Ian Andrew Troi was a human Startleet officer who married Deanna's Betazoid mother, Lwaxana. Troi's father is further established to be deceased ("Half a Life" [TNG] et al.) but the circumstances of his death nave not been established. When Troi was studying psychology at Tao University of Betazed, Tam Elbrun, who later became a Starfleet specialist in contact with alien life, was her patient ("Tin Man" [TNG]).

When Deanna was a child, she was genetically bonded with Wyatt Miller, a human, who is the son of Steven Miller, close friend of Deanna's father. The exact ages of Deanna and Wyatt were not established, but such bonding at childhood is still a common Betazoid custom, and generally results in marriage when both children reach adulthood. The marriage was never performed ("Haven" [TNG]). The last few episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation hinted very strongly at a budding romantic relationship with Worf, but neither of the Star Trek features produced since then has made clear what, if any- thing, developed between them. Worf's joining of the Deep Space 9 crew in 2372 might also seem to imply that any relationship was concluded by that point.
