Sword For Truth

This film is only 60 minutes long, so the story is rather rushed. The story is that a very skillful (a little too skillful) ninja that must use his numerous talents to rescue the Princess and that involves travelling to an island and giving up a valuable sword. And that's it. We never find out what anyone wanted with the sword, as 2 clans were fighting over it. Also, the 'film' ends strangely, suggesting other parts, but I haven't seen any around. When the making of this 'film' began, the director must have said to the script writers:" OK, You get extra points if you kil over a thousand people and have sex scenes for no reason," because that's what happens. There are 3/4 sex scenes ( in 60 minutes mind you) and thousands of people are killed in some of the most horrific ways you could imagine. If you're looking for suspense, then it's certainly not here. The main character doesn't get hit once throughout the entire thing - no blood shedding, no bruises, no cuts, not even paper cuts - he's just too good. And that's its problem. Since he can't be touched you know there's no problem of death for him, even though everyone elses head has been sliced off. Basically, only buy this one if you are really into horrific, totally gruesome action. Everyone else, just buy Ninja scroll.
