Properly known in physics circles as "harmonic resonance", the phenomena of destruction by sound waves is amply demonstrated in an old Memorex™ ad campaign ("Is it live, or is it Memorex™?") and occasionally on cable television documentaries (and in a more recent car stereo commercial) by footage of a rather infamous suspension bridge. Roughly stated, it is not actually the sound we hear that causes the destruction, but its overtones or undertones beyond the range of human hearing which set up sufficient vibration in an object to literally vibrate it apart. In this instance, Buckaroo is refering to a series of sounds Replay has been known to use when threatened, with the usually deliberate intent to cause sufficient destruction of property to frighten off most attackers. -- Reno
