Summary/Review: This ish happens after Generation X '95, so check that out first. Done that? Good, let's move on.

During a little party to welcome Mondo to the Academy, M decides to go see what's keeping Sean. She finds him sprawled on the kitchen table, presumably dead. Here, she reveals that she does indeed posses some psionic power by contacting Ms. Frost. It's found that Banshee isn't really dead, Emma can still sense his psionic presence. So what's she do? She leaves her body and goes into his mind while Husk, M, Skin, Synch, and Chamber go out to try and find whomever caused this. The others stay there, Mondo staying cool, Jubilee staying worried about Penance. While in Sean's mind, Emma watches him recreate some of his earlier days with Interpol and, oddly, Magneto (actually, pre-Magneto, here) appears to give Sean some pointers on tracking the killer he is after.
While the kids go driving out a little too fast, they end up finishing their trek and are ambushed by none other than Omega Red.

Quick Thoughts: An average issue, despite the addition of Mondo to the series. For some reason, he just doesn't seem to fit in at all with this group, and it really shows in this issue. But, the art was pretty good and I enjoyed the relationship Angelo and Paige seem to be acquiring. And in true format, the cover had nothing to do with 29 of the 30 pages, which kinda bothered me, but at least you know what's coming next issue.
