I was born in Overschie (a suburb of Rotterdam) in the year 1974, on december 18th. I lived there with my parents in a little apartment building on the 4th floor. On my fourth birthday, I got a dog, Bello (for a picture, see below). Since I have no brothers or sisters, this dog became my best friend. I loved him like a brother.

When I was seven, we moved to a new house in a new suburb of Rotterdam, the Beverwaard. It was a brand new house and the rest of the suburb was mostly meadow. It was much better there, mostly because now we could take the dog out for long walks and we had a lot more space.

When I got older, I went to school in a village nearby, Ridderkerk. It was a nice school, but then I didn't like it that much. The other guys (so called bullies) didn't like me that much, because I was very quiet and tried to study. Therefore I made friends with the some of the girls in my class.
One of them is still my very best friend, Bernadette (click here for picture).

In the last class, a lifechanging thing happened...... I discovered I was gay. At first my world seemed to collapse, but with the help of my friends I got over it (now I'm quite happy the way I am).

After I finished school, I tried to figure out what to do with my life. After a few missteps, I decided to become a hairstylist (typical gay, isn't it?). I like that profession very much.

Right now I'm very happy about the way I live.... I live together with my boyfriend, Peter, who I love very, very much. He's the center of my life.
