Destiny

The moon lit the sky like an eternal lamp.
The beach was soft, her clothes were damp.
The rain had cleansed her pain away,
And now she wited for the day,
To dawn.

Her long blue dress was torn and muddy.
Her once beautiful face was streaked and bloody.
Her life had ended in a dead man's kiss,
And now she wited for the abyss,
To come.

She has stood against them all, the world and him.
She had known, in the end, it would end like her dream, within.
She knew now that the end was very near,
And soon, very soon, he would be here,
To kill.

A shadow fell on the beach and on her face.
A moment of panic, before the calm came in it's place.
A voice, dark, tired and true, telling her what she already knew.
That now it ended, she couldn't fight what was true,
Her destiny.

And now the same beach is cold and dark.
The moon has hidden behind clouds that spark,
With the glow of a thunderstorm, and then the rain,
Has come to cleanse the earth of pain.
It was,

Her Destiny.
