Freak or Unique?

I sit alone,
Though the room is full.
A lonely figure,
Amidst the cool.

I am an outcast,
Of society's disease.
The freak, the fool
Who never will please.

Untrendy, uncool,
I live by my rules.
The only real rebel,
In a world of fools.

They think they are different,
They act all the same.
They live by conventions,
All wearing brand names.

You think you're unique,
Looking exactly the same.
You call me a freak,
And society's to blame.

Freak I may be,
But at least I am free.
