These scrolls are prepared by Laveril, scribe to the Blademaster. They tell of the adventures of a small band of heroes in the frozen Northlands. Although these brave souls are young yet, they show promise, and thus I follow their exploits. Perhaps their actions will shape the world, perhaps they will fall, who on this world yet knows?
The Heroes
Amy
A young dwarf maid, not widely travelled beyond the mine her father runs, but from a
line of noble and couragous warriors. She seeks to prove herself to the world, and
to her father most of all.
Vortyn
A young farm lad, from the eastern Northlands, he has watched his poor family struggle
since the day he was born. Bitter about the life they lead he has fought and stole
to keep them from starving. But at the same time yearned for escape from his farming
life - perhaps to follow in the footsteps of his uncle, once an adventurer himself,
before losing an eye and with it the heart to fight any longer.
