Guests' Web Picks

       For all we know, that quiet, nondescript person across the room is actually a raving, maniacal anime otaku bored into some semblance of normality since there is nothing of interest to them now. How much can we really tell of another person by just looking at them? (Not that we don't try.. ;)

       What about when we are online? Can we tell about a person just by looking at their websites or what they may have posted to a newsgroup? Maybe we've heard about certain "personalities". How will our perceptions of them square to what they might say about themselves? Will their choice of websites surprise us?

       Anipike will be asking people to share their thoughts with us in articles where they tell us about their interests and the websites they like. Or dislike.. Many of these people have an online presence. They may be maintainers of websites or regulars on Usenet. Some of them are people we've only read about. There are those that are unknown to us. Then there might be those we see around and never would have guess they were anime/manga fans...

       Whomever they may be, they will be people who have been kind enough to take time to give of themselves. They are people from all walks of life, and as such we will be offered a glimpse of what the world is like. We, at Anipike, thank them and hope that those reading will find something they can take with them.

       And so... we ask them too, "What Are You Looking At?!"  :)
