Alien Sunsets Info

"Alien Sunsets" is an animation project by science fiction author and general layabout Stephen Palmer. It is hoped that the main part of the work - the animation and the music - will be done during 1998. Netheads out there will want to know that the applications being used are Photoshop, Strata and Premiere. And, of course, a Mac.

The plot concerns events on an alien planet. Two creatures, one a moral leader, the other a political leader, begin a struggle for an ancient artifact called the Coloursource.

This project was inspired by recent Japanese anime films such as "Akira", "Ghost In The Shell" and "Battle Angel Alita" (amongst many others), but also by such 'ambient' films as "Koyanasqqatsi", "Powaqqatsi", and "Baraka".
