Write Episodes for Star Trek Redstone

 If you would like to write an episode for Star Trek Redstone, you have to know a bit about the show.
Well below it will tell you the overall series idea and the character mini-biographies.

Series Premise

 The main idea for the series is that the Iconians from TNG are back. A race from the Beta Quadrent(behind Romulan and Klingon space) called the Nilatonans have found an abundance of Iconian technology on one of their moons and for over 100 years have been trying to work out how to use it. Similar to a race of "Hitler's", the Nilatonans keep the less technically advanced races in slave labor camps to do their work and deconstruct the Iconian Devices.

The Federation finds out about this when a series of Destoyed Romulan Ships starts to drift accross the Neutral Zone into Federation Space. The USS Redstone finds chaos inside the Romulan ships and discovers that the dammage was caused by some kind of translocating technology. They later find out that the Nilatonans have discovered how to repair an Iconian Gate and are experimenting with translocating people. But they havn't perfected it yet and thats why Romulan ships were found with dead crew and no power. The Federation Contacts the Romulan Government and offers assistance.

Skipping to the end of the story, the Romulans finnaly agree to let the Federation do stuff in the Beta Quadrent to stop the Nilatonans from Completing and using Iconian technology to enslave other races and taking over. But in exchange for what the Redstone does for the Romulan Government, the Romulans have given the Redstone a Cloaking device and a Romulan Officer to help them do their thing.

Character Profiles

Main Characters

 Captain Zachery Johnson -MALE
The Captain of the USS Redstone, his mother was Bajoran and his father was Human making him half Bajoran. Johnson takes the Bajoran beliefs into perspective with his life and he goes by Bajoran beliefs, customs and holidays and wears his earring when off duty. He was married in 2365 but during the Cardassian occupation of Bajor, his wife, Johnson Jora(Torani Jora) was killed by the Cardassians while on a resistance mission to liberate a Bajoran slave labor camp in 2368. Previous ships include 1st officer of the USS Kyushu NCC-65491}destroyed at Wolf 359 in early 2367. And Captain of the USS Budapest NCC-84923} Destroyed in 2373 in Sol sector.

First officer, Commander Phoebe Dawson -FEMALE
The 1st officer of the USS Redstone, her great grandmother was a Betazoid making her partially empathic. Dawson is into archaeology and once attended a conference with Jean-Luc Picard of the Enterprise-D in late 2369. She has a large maternal instinct but is infertile due to an incident in 2366 when she was exposed to extremely high thoron particle radiation nearly killing her. She has never been married but engaged once in 2369. Previous ships include Lieutenant aboard the USS Endeavor NCC-71805}served in Romulan blockade during Klingon civil war, part of an armada that intercepted the Borg.

Second officer, Lieutenant Krabas Jin -MALE
The Second officer of the USS Redstone, He is Bolian. Jin is the ships pilot and science officer. He spends most of his time in stellar cartography researching the lifetime of dark matter nebula's. Previous ships include (none stated yet any sugestions might be used)

Lieutenant Kevin Diner -MALE
The chief engineer of the USS Redstone, his Mother was half Vulcan making him is 1/4 vulcan. Diner lives the Human way of life, ignoring Vulcan beliefs and behavior but is still exceptionally intelligent and physically strong. He can usually be found on the holodeck playing Parrises Squares and sometimes looses things due to his betting on matches. Previous ships include (none stated yet any sugestions will be noted)

Lieutenant (Jr.) Sarah Kliner -FEMALE
The doctor of the USS Redstone, she is Human. Kliner has somewhat of a crush on Lt. Diner but is reluctant to confront him about it, instead she is constantly challenging him to games such as Parrises Squares. Previous ships include (none stated yet ")

Lieutenant (Jr.) Wade Myers -FEMALE
The security and tactical officer of the USS Redstone, she is Human. She is friends with Ens. Morris and is always trying to come up with plans to get him alone with Sarah, and continuously tells him to tell Lt. Kliner how he feels. Previous ships include (")

Ensign Scott Morris -MALE
The operations and communications officer of the USS Redstone, he is partially Klingon due to his great grandmother. Morris doesn't really go by Klingon beliefs or customs, he does not really have much of an idea of the Klingon way. He is doesn't really get along with Lt. Diner because he is somewhat protective of Lt. Kliner because he likes her but he never gets to be alone to tell her about his feelings. Previous ships include (")

Sub-Commander Tar`uk Saurath -MALE
The cloak engineer officer of the USS Redstone, he is Romulan. Saurath is an 'exchange' officer with the Romulan government. He wears a Romulan uniform and prefers to be alone and to not socialize with the rest of the Redstone crew. However, he usually ends up with Jin, in stellar cartography.

Forrath Minox -MALE
Minox was found on a planet near the Nilatonan system. He is a Nilatonan child. Minox was trapped on the planet when his shuttle crashed in 2373 and the crew died. He was rescued by the Redstone when a distress signal coming from his shuttle was received in 2374. The Captain wished to return him to Nilaton but Minox said that his distress signal had been sending for over a year and the Nilatonans hadn't bothered to rescue him so he didn't want to go back.

Secondary/Recurring Characters

 Ensign Munroe -FEMALE
She was in a couple of episodes and is an engineering officer

A pirate/Q/Gul Dukat/Weiyon type of guy may be introduced but there are no ideas yet


Restrictions

 Your episode does not have to be a script, it can be a story written in 1st person, 2nd person, 3rd person, etc.

It does not have to contain any dialouge but it would be preferable if it contains at least 10% worth of character speech

Your Story may not include something which kills off one of the main characters, although if you think that would be a good idea i might take it under advisement.

Your episode cannot destroy the ship beyond repair, although if its a thing where they can go back in time and reverse it or something like that its okay.

Your Story MUST involve at LEAST 1 main character, there is no maximum limmit to the involvement of the main characters in any particular episode.

Romances (which are clean not dirty erotica stories) may be accepted if they are not too damaging to the overall story line.


Final Info

 In short your episode(s) can be about ANYTHING at all as long as it isn't offensive to anybody and it doesn't include explicit materical.

Your episode will be used for fan's enjoyment and will in no way used to make profit or aid any particular cause/function.

No payment whatsoever will be given to the author of the story although a byline next to the title will state who the story came from.
