    I received my B.S. Degree on December 21, 1997, from Purdue University, in Computer Information Systems.  Students in the Computer Information Systems (CPT) program at Purdue University, utilize both computing and communication skills acquired in their plan of study. In addition, courses in finance, marketing, personnel, organizational behavior, production, and business law are required. 

    Opportunities exist to study expert systems, data communications, and management information systems. Students with  B.A. Degrees are proficient in systems analysis and design, database systems, software development, and microcomputer applications. Career options available to students include programmer/analysts, systems analysts, applications programmers, database specialists, network specialists, network administrators, customer support representatives, teachers/trainers, and consultants.
