Arasa is my dragon. Her home world was attacked by Monster Minds, which was how we met. On that world her kind served as familiars and companions, and older ones for transportation. The first time she saw me, she more or less attached herself to my body and refused to let go. If she were small that wouldn't have been a problem, but there's nothing like 250 pounds of scales and feathers on your back to knock the wind out of you. She kind of adopted me instead of the other way around. The people of that world said it was a great honor to be chosen by a dragon, but I had my doubts at first, especially when she decided she wanted to sleep on the foot of my bed... We've grown near to inseperable, though. She's not yet old enough to carry me, but we HAVE recently discovered one of her powers... crystalization.
