Herc Stormsailor is the proud captain of the Pride of the Skies. The old space barge is much like a basketball player. She's great when she's not disabled, which seems to be more often than not. We sort of kind of tricked Herc into taking us on. He was passing by when the Monster Minds attacked us in Gillian's garden. Gillian used a touch of magic to force him to land, then, using the promise of gold, got him to get us off the planet. Herc was slightly peeved when the gold turned back into lead. He loves money and gambling, and it seems either knows or owes half the galaxy. :) Herc can be hotheaded, gruff, and blatently rude, but deep down he has a big heart. It's just wrapped in a somewhat rough coating. He loves to pick on Flora and Broc and Oon, especially Oon, but it's quite obvious from his actions that he really cares about all of them, though he'll rarely admit it out loud.
