The Start of My Trek

I don't how I became interested in Star Trek. I just always have been a Trekkie. I remember watching TOS repeats when I was a young whippersnapper. Then came TNG--my favorite TV series of all time. (Moment of silence, please.)
OK.
Capt. Picard, Riker, Data (one of my nicknames has been Android even before Data came on the scene), Wesley, Deanna--I get teary-eyed just tninking of my friends.
I was not impressed the DS9 when it came out, but it's been getting better lately.
I love Voyager--"the story of the fateful trip" with the Doctor and Seven--two being searching for their humanity.

My First Trek Convention

My friend Taylor and I went to our first Star Trek convention last year. It was great to be able to carry on intelligent conversations with fellow Trekkies. We learned how to make Klingon foods and met some real live Klingons. We lots of collectible (and bought some). The high point of the day was meeting Nana Visitor. She told of her pending marriage to Siddig.
