MISSION & PURPOSE

The Freedom is designed as a special operations vessel to prevent any incursions into the border and defend the SDG in all respects.

The Freedom has the new Duo-nacelle system and a heavy armor casing similar to the Enterprise-E . The armor is a deutreniumbypolycarbide alloy, designed to disperse energy. It also employs twin phaser cannons mounted on the "neck" of the craft. These cannons move out on an arm when they are to be fired, as they cause a great amount of radiation. The Duo-nacelle system allows for the nacelle to be replaced, in flight, by another. The secondary nacelles also power the phaser cannons.
