You head towards the mountains.

You couldn't resist. Forget the village, or the river. You want ADVENTURE!! And what a place to find it, you think. In the mountains.
What you failed to see, however, was how far you'd have to walk in order to get there. Halfway there, you look behind you. You can't even see the river anymore, and the village is a tiny black speck in the open space. Cursing, you continue. Too late to turn back, you wager. You begin to chide yourself for not thinking to at least stop at the village for food and supplies before you headed out. Resentfully, you continue walking.

You finally arrive at the mountains. Looking behind you, your ego shoots skyward as you think about how far you walked without drinking any water. You see a path leading into the mountains, and decide to follow it. Pretty soon you arrive at a very large, beautiful, and heavily guarded castle. The guard with the crossbow on the wall levels his arrow at you, and you put your arms up.
"State your name!" he barks at you.
You stutter a bit, but eventually manage to pronounce your name.
"What is your business here?" he demands.
You're faced with a choice.
You can lie or you can answer him honestly.

Which will it be? Choose carefully.
