Plot
The Enterprise visits a terraforming station on Velara III where there
has been some problems, the crew has not reported as planed, but when the
Enterprise arrives everything seems fine, until a member of the terraforming
crew is killed by a laserdrill. Data starts an investigation, soon after the
drill also attacks him. Based on that attack Picard decides that the
terraforming should be on hold until an explination is found. Data and
Geordi returns to the now powerless station to begin an investigation,
however they've just started when they encounter something strange, which
turns out to be a new lifeform, after being beamed up to the Enterprise for
examination the lifeform declares war on humans and attempts to take over
the Enterprise.
