Plot
Young Clara Sutter has rescently come aboard the Enterprise along with her father, they
have been moving from ship to ship all over her childhood, to compensate for the moving
around she has created an imaginary friend, someone who's always with her, and someone
she can talk to about anything. Troi and the father gets into the play as Troi finds
it to be a hold-on for the girl, meanwhile the Enterprise is exploring a strange cluster
and it appears to be compleatly unhamfull to the ship. However a group of energy entities
is present in the cluster, they get interested in the pure power created by the ships
warpgenerators, they send one of them to investigate the newfound feedingsource, the
entity searches around the ship util it finds Clare, it then creates itselve into the
friend Clare is imaginating, together they begin to investigate the ship. When Clare
goes to engeneering, she has a runin with her father who asks her to leave, at the same
time the impulsedrives looses power for a short period of time. When Clare leaves into
the corridor Isabella reappears and they continue to run around the ship until they
stomp into Worf who orders them to leave the area, as it's not a place for children.
As a period of time passes, Troi realises that something is wrong and tries to get
Clare to see some other children, Isabella gets a bit opset by that and begins to make
Troi's drink splash all over. Meanwhile the Enterprise encounters more and more of the
drops in speed, Geordi finds that there are some strings present in the cluster, the
strings are getting bigger and there are becoming more of them. Isabella reveales the
truth to Clare and tells that there are more of her kind on the way and that they're
going to destroy the ship. Clare gets scared and her father asks Troi to come by and help
calming the girl, Troi tries to help by entering the room with Clare and begins to look
everywhere, but suddenly Isabella appears and shows a bolt of energy towards Troi. She
wakes up in sickbay explaining the thing to Picard, as the strings get closer and stronger
and becomes a serious threat to the ship a group of entities appear and moves onto the
shields, they begin to observe energy and the shields drop quickly. Picard returns to
Clare to try and get in contact with Isabella, they return together with Clare's father
and Troi to the place where Clare first met Isabella in an atempt to understand what they
are dealing with, and what the enteties want from them.
