Plot
Deanna Troi wakes to find herself on board a Romulan ship and surgically
altered to look like a Romulan. She has been kidnapped by N'Vek, a Romulan
dissident, in order to help several high Romulan officials defect to the
Federation while posing as a member of the Tal Shiyar (a Romulan
organization which promotes "loyalty" within the Empire). Meanwhile, a
former Federation member named DeSeve, who had previously defected to the
Romulan Empire returns to the Federation and is taken on board by the
Enterprise. He brings with him information from Ambassador Spock about the
scheme to bring the Romulan officials to the Federation aboard a freighter.
The Enterprise heads to the location where they are to meet the freighter
only to find it destroyed by Romulans. Troi tries to expose the Romulan ship
and the Enterprise folows, when cmd. Toreth wants to engage in war, Troi
takes command of the warbird and hails Picard. She uses a deflector burst to
cover a transporterbeam to transfer the 3 romulan defectors to the
Enterprise but it is discovered before she can get herself away.

Goofs
- When the defector ensign boards the Enterprise, he asks Riker to meet
with *CAPTAIN* Picard. When Picard walks to that ensigns quarters, the
defector addresses him as *COMMANDER* as if Picard were a Romulan CO.
- Also, Troi is surgically altered to look like a Romulan, including the
short hair style. When Crusher alters her back, she has long hair again.
So Crusher can accelerate hair growth, the Romulan captor hid her hair,
Troi wears a wig, or they messed up *another* scene!
