This blue Cliffjumper was found on a fleamarket in the Netherlands. In the early eighties the toystores in the Netherlands had besides the normal Europian packaged Transformers also Mexican import. These Mexican Transformers were made by a company called IGA. Unlike the Brazillian or Argentinan Transformers, the Mexican Transformers came in the regular type packaging, with as only difference the language. Also did the toys have normal Takara and/or Hasbro markings as you can see in the picture below.
The toys had some differences from the normal Transformers. One of the most obvious is that besides red Cliffjumpers, they also made blue Cliffjumpers like mine. Some other variations were blue Huffers (not Pipes!) and the seekers had plastic noses instead of rubber and some less noticable differences.
Yep, mine is missing the head.... Anyone got a
spare?:)
