The Rose

This image will be a part of a very large world someday, at least I hope so. Click here to see a scanned sketch of that world. It is a Myst Island type of thing, but it will be my own. Anyway, I have always loved rings of stone. Take the Speaking Ring for example, where a smaller version of this image resides. I have been trying to model them for some time, but I never could do that good of a job. Well, I'd like to think I have done one now. Also, I would like to point out that I didn't create the rose. It came as a 3dmf file with Apple's Quickdraw 3D software. I have modified the original, but I did not create it.
