Undiscovered Frontier Season One
Cloak of Darkness
It was the dawn of the Fourth Age of Mankind, two years after the Great Democratic War. The Alliance of Democratic Nations was a dream given life. It's purpose: to defend freedom and democracy from all enemies. They are a beacon of hope, all alone in the night. Infinity is a deadly place, but they are our last, best hope for freedom. This is the story of the first generation of the Alliance. The year is 2159. Welcome... to the Undiscovered Frontier.
The first season will mostly be used to introduce our main characters, as well as settings. As you know, we have the Alliance, the powers of the Star Trek universe, (including the Dominion), and, quite obviously, the Babylon 5 universe. Other enemies and allies include the genetically enhanced renegade forces of a defeated Nazi "Fourth Reich", the peaceful Gersallians, the friendly Keloans, the Elohsians, (whom were created by author Robert Greenburger in the STTNG novel "The Romulan Stratagem",) and a nineteen-eighties Soviet Union which is converting to democratic rule due to the defection of Poland and Czechoslovakia to the free world, (details to this defection will be discussed later.)
Early on, it will also profile the not-so-cozy relations between the Alliance and the Federation, who are in the middle of a Cold War over ideals. In fact, at a couple of points, it will seem as if they are close to an all-out war. This will be upstaged, however, when the Dominion War begins.
The series will also add several characters that you will probably recognize from various shows. There will also be a whole bunch of guest stars.
