Raye is a priestess and grew up in the temple at Sendai Hill with her Grandfather. Since she's a Japanese priestess, she knows a lot of special chants and prayers. In Japanese, a young priestess like Raye is called a "Miko." When Raye calles upon her powers to defeat evil spirits she uses the command "Aku Ryo Tai San," which in English would mean something like "Retreat, Evil Spirit!"
