About Me

I was born in southwestern part of China, Sichuan Province. After spending 10 years at Lanzhou University for my college education and graduate studies, I started to "travel" around the world. The first stop was Fudan Univesity, then Kyoto University, University of Kentucky, University of Chicago, and now at Yale University.

My Research Work

My master degree work was on the photochemistry of a dibenzylketone in microenvironments under the guidance of Professor You-Cheng Liu and Professor Xue-Gong Lei, while my Ph.D. work was focused on the synthesis and property study on cleavable surfactants, also under the direction of Professor You-Cheng Liu. Since then I started working on fullerene chemistry until now.
