4-ARMED PICARD

(THE BORG DID THIS TO HIM!)

This is my 4-Armed Captain Picard custom-made action figure. I made it using the head of the "Captain Picard" action figure from the original "ST:TNG" action figure series, the torso and (top) arms to an unidentified G.I. JOE action figure (it was definetly a real G.I. JOE) and the pelvis and (bottom) arms to a "Cobra B.A.T. (Battle Android Trooper)" G.I. JOE action figure. I simply cracked the Picard action figure open and took the head out, luckily the head connection was the same type that the G.I. JOE's used. Then, I simply disassembled the two G.I. JOE's that I used using a tiny screwdriver to undo the tiny screw in their backs. I then took the needed parts and used my own rubber band (the hard part was getting the rubber band around everything and still closing the two halves of the torso, with it still holding). I wrapped the rubberband around the arms and the post in the center of the torso, and threaded it through the pelvis. Then making sure all the parts were in the proper sockets, and that the rubberband held, but didn't get caught in any seams, I tightened the screw and presto! I have a one-of-a-kind 4-Armed Picard action figure. The only further modification I made past that was I scraped off the "Cobra" symbol from one of the "B.A.T.'s" shoulders. Here's the pictures (below) I took of it with a cheap camera when I was at college. I sent these to ToyFare magazine. Hopefully they'll at least print it if I don't win the contest. I think many people would find it funny! You may put these pictures on your website if you want to, so long as you give me credit. Enjoy.
