This is Cape Point, the southernmost point on the African continent, and the dividing line between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean. We are not far from Cape Town here (go figure!). The Portuguese, who first navigated this area, called it Cabo Tormentoso, or "Cape of Storms".
