Ze heette Greet, was zeer discreet, 
aldus m'n horoscoop 
Ik werd daarom meteen concreet, 
en alles kreeg z'n beloop 

Ik werd haar vuur, haar hoofdfiguur 
haar grote 'haute couture' 
Haar beste buur, haar schoonheidskuur, 
haar brokje puur natuur 

Ze heette Greet was zeer compleet 
aldus m'n horoscoop 
Ik werd daarom meteen concreet, 
en alles kreeg z'n beloop 

Ze werd m'n vuur, m'n eeuwig vuur, 
m'n lievelingslektuur 
M'n subcultuur, m'n zelfbestuur, 
m'n allerlaatste uur 

*Note: this is not really correct. 
It should be : "M'n naamloze vennoot" 
but they sing  "M'n nameloze vennoot" 
They added an "e" probably to make it 
fit to the music. "Nameloze" is not 
correct Dutch. Everybody understands 
it though.... Thought I'd mention it
