Hi! I'm Sar and this is my tribute to BSB! I have a variety of links ranging from Bios to Sounds! So enjoy!
This section is a little bit of background on why I made a web page for BSB!
I became a fan of BSB when I first heard
"Quit Playing Games(With My Heart)"
in 1997. I had first heard them on the radio with
"We've Got It Going On"
in 1995, but didn't think anything of it cause they seemed to be a "one-hit-wonder". Well it seemed that way til August of '97 when
"QPG(WMY)"
came out. When I first heard it I thought "this is really describing my life with my friends. The song really hit home because my friends couldn't deside if they were true friends or not. They were starting rumors 'bout me and really hurting my reputation! When I actually sat down and listened to all of the words in the song I knew what I had to do. I had to tell my friends that they were hurting me and that I wanted them to decide if they were going to be friends or not. Well after that was over I decided that I needed to possibly start making better friends. Since it was my freshman year I decided to make friends in the 7th grade class! It was a good choice! I had friends that looked up to me for the first time! And friends that haven't turned their backs on me either! I personally think it was all because I listened to words in their song and made a difference with them, but maybe it was just the begining of a new me! Whatever it was it was a good thing! After that episode of 9th grade I began to open my eyes to a lot of different things I began singing again, I got more active, and I was actually popular! I had social status, I had the hole school looking up to me! By the homecoming came around in October, I was voted on the Homecoming Court over some that seemed more popular that me but I guess that if you are nice to people you will eventually come out on top! Even though I wasn't queen or a runner-up I still proved to myself that I wasn't just a person at the school that I was a person that had great friends, and an actual social status! I really do think that it was because I really listened to the words of a great song! I thank Nick, Brian, Kevin, AJ, and Howie for giving the song a chance and for making it a song that I will never forget!
