well my story with drums isn't so long as it has just started in less than a year..but i've been dreaming a lot about playing drums n' i never had an opportunity to learn how to play.. and the thanx goes to one of my very best friends "" he's the person who taught me drums and still teaching me..i learn a lot from him...he has his own band "Necrology". well that's my story with drums u see i said it ain't 2 long...i usually play on Pearl Ranger II series sets with zijian cymbals and ahead sticks (lars ulrich) series, I also play with VicFirth Extreme 5B they're good sticks too :) I started AnxietY with my brother Kimmy in mid-june 1999.
In addition to sherif's tuitions there's that book a very very very special friend of mine at collage got me from USA it's called "One surface learning" by Roy Burns & Joey Farris. this is a real perfect book. it teaches everything from the very early beginning and teaches right too which is actually the most important, I myself think that the way this book teaches drumset coordination and hand techniques is the best..
As for my favourite what ever they call it then here they are:
Place to live: well i ain't got a nice place to live...really im serious..non of all places i live in is nice n' interesting..
Food: i love pizza (extra cheese n' mushrooms)
Hang out: any where with my best buddies would make it the best...but since we all lack money..we go to a coffee shop in Cairo called "Tasters" we always sit on the same table order the same food n' drinks..but still we're together.
Drummer: Nick Menza (he's such a creative machine)
Metal Bands: ; Metallica; Savatage; Iron Maiden.
