WHAT IS CAPTAIN EO ABOUT ??
Captain EO is a musical space-adventure film in 3-D.
To see it you have to put on your 3-D
glasses in the
Cin�magique cinema in Disneyland Paris (Discoveryland).
Captain EO and his band of space misfits take you
on the intergalactic search for
the Supreme Leader of a
hostile planet.
The hideous Supreme Leader
, suspended like a spider,
coiled in
machine-like metal, machinery, tubing and hose orders the
extermination of Captain EO
and his crew in her
hissing, cracking voice............
This is the commander and his crew�s last
chance to prove their competence.
The spectacular images
literally explode off the screen!
Captain EO (= Michael!!! AOWW!!) leads his rag-tag band
on a mission to bring The Gift to this
evil empire located in
the outer reaches of space. This is the crew�s last chance
to prove their worth
to the sceptical Commander Bogg.
They are captured by sinister warriors and taken before
the Supreme Leader.
EO delivers his gift of color, light, music and dance, overcoming
the warriors with the power of hope.
The dark, desolate and refuse-strewn planet is transformed
into a world of wondrous beauty!!

************* MARJO�S FIELD REPORT *******************
BERGEN OP ZOOM, HOLLAND, August 16th, 1998, 09.00 - 13.15 h.
Last July the MJ Fan Family from the Netherlands was already
in Disneyland Paris to say GOODBYE to the Captain (check out
the pictures of that visit on our website!).
But TODAY, the absolute LAST CHANCE to see EO, we woke up and
did nothing else than talk about it. Also, rumours said that
Michael himself would be there.........very low chance that this
was true, but what if it was and WE were not there??? OUCH!!
We made some phonecalls and tried the WEB for info, but no
luck.
Finally, we decided to GO!!!
As a hurricane we packed some food, drinks, MJ CD albums to play
during the drive, put on our MJ outfits and drove to Paris
(from the south of Holland, 450 km) at 13.15 p.m.
We arrived in Disneyland at 16.45....*lol* and the first MJ fans
were arriving there to meet up in the evening. We bought tickets
for the evening-entrance and waited for the 18.00 permission for
entering the parc.
DISNEYLAND PARIS, August 16th 18.00 - 22.30 h.
18.00 h : 
We entered the parc, excited!!, and we walked to Discoveryland
ONE WAY!! At the entrance of Cin�magique we met several MJ fans
from France, Germany and the UK.
It was so wonderful to share this evening with all those people
with the same Michael-feeling! Ofcourse we went inside the cinema
to see our friend EO.....this part of the night 4 times........
waiting for the last show.
Between the shows we talked outside with Paul Brangwyn from MJ
News International. He showed the latest KING! issue to all the
fans and told us all about the MJNI Birthday Bash plans.
Thanks Paul, pleased to meet you! 
We exchanged addresses, URL�s, e-mail addy�s and businesscards with
other fans and talked to Alexandra Ab�cassis from Bobigny, France
and with Picart Rachel from Antony, France.
22.00 h : All the gathered fans decided to have some pictures
of this MJ bunch, cool!! 
My husband Peter (AKA Papa Bear) 
put on his MJ Security t-shirt,
in case Michael would show up in the end *lol*. He looked like
a real bodyguard in it!
22.45 h : It was said the last show would be at 23.00 h, so we
entered the cinema for the last time, while the whole group was
shouting for Michael! The Disney-employees could not stop laughing
and wished us a Good Time!
We waited in the entrance-space for the last show to begin, singing
Another Part Of Me, taking pictures and talking about
MJ�s HIStory Tour and all that. We had a lot of fun, Michael�s
spirit was with all of us!
23.00 h : NERVOUS we ran into the cinema, this was the LAST time!!!
Incredible that this was really the last chance to drool on gorgeous
MJ, to see him dancing, singing, making his MOVES, seeing his HUGE GRIN
at the end!!!
The Disney employee presented this last show with warmth and
enthousiasm, surprised by the excited fans!
I started to sing "All I wanna say is that Disney does not
care about US" and all the fans joined me in TDCAU with this
new lyrics!! LMAO!! "Skinhead, deadhead, everybody gone bad........."
When the first images came on the screen, all hell broke loose!!
Everyone stood up, clapped their hands, shouted, screamed, we sang
along with the music, talked along with the lines.........so cool!
Michael can be proud of his fans who came all the way to say
GOODBYE to the Captain.
We all "touched" his face, his BUTT (*lol*), his friends Fuzzball
and Hooter ("Where is the map? - I think I ate it - YOU ATE IT????").
We screamed everytime Michael�s face was on the screen, shouted
"Michael we love you!" and, finally, waved to him when the last
tones from Another Part Of Me filled the cinema.............
23.18 h : SILENCE
Some of us cried, others stared at the screen like they could not
believe it......like me..........
My children walked up front and put flowers on the floor in front
of the screen.........goodbye and farewell Captain EO.........
Thank you so much for all the joy you brought us and to so many
people!
23.30 h : We shouted for more, we all wanted wanted to see the movie
one more time!
The Disney employees called their chief and he came in and started
a speech, saying Disney regretted it to close down this show.
The man was whistled off!
Onfortunately, no luck, no EO again, so we started saying goodbye
to the cinema, the chairs where we have been sitting so many times,
the lights, the 3-D glasses (in our bags and pockets *lol*)......said
goodbye to one another.
We took pictures with an MJ look-alike and Peter as his
security-guard.
00.30 h : We said goodbye to Picart Rachel and his friends and left
the parc, still singing Another Part Of Me and we Are Here To Change
The World. A bit sad, but happy that we were there, we drove back in
the dark night to Holland...........................................
