In God’s Image
We were created in God’s image.
That means God looks like we do,
With two eyes, two legs,
Two arms, two ears,
A liver, some lungs, a pancreas -
God has warts and tumors and birthmarks,
And a brain.
I wonder what God’s IQ is -
If it’s higher or lower than mine.
I wonder if God is ticklish,
And how he likes his cheeseburgers cooked.
If we are truly made in God’s image,
Why do we call god a ‘he’?
God would need to be both a male and a female.
If so, I wonder if God is ever attracted to himself.
I wonder if God ever masturbates.
If God is love and sex is a form of love,
Is God sex?
And does God ever have sex too?
Who would God have sex with?
Does God even know what sex feels like?
If God has feelings like we do,
I wonder if God could trick himself
Into believing he was something he wasn’t.
I wonder if God could fall from grace.
Maybe that’s what happened to God,
Why we don’t hear from God
As much as the Bible people heard from God.
Maybe God forgot us.
Maybe we forgot God.
Maybe God’s that voice in my head;
Or maybe God is dead.
Or maybe since God:
Looks like us,
Talks like us,
Feels like us,
God is us,
And we are all God.
But if that’s true,
I feel sorry for those who don’t
Believe in God.
