It's finally here! Pop Trash has been released in the U.S. today and it's simply divine! I'm hoping that Mars Meets Venus will be the second single, but most fans seem to be panning for Playing with Uranium. Go here to read my review. Also, you should note that the track listing below should also include a Spanish version of Someone Else Not Me (French version available on the UK and Canadian CDs).

Duran Duran will be on VH1's the Daily One on June 19th. Don't forget Thursday the 15th: Duran on Jay Leno!

Someone Else Not Me will be Duran Duran's first single, due out May 2nd on the airwaves. Here are pictures of the promotional album covers that will be handed out to radio stations. It's possible that the album artwork will look completely different.

According to the lizard king and the official hotline, the new album is slated for a June 6th, 2000 release date. I hope so, that's my birthday!

March 5th, 2000

BET (Black Entertainment Television) is playing a Poop Daddy/Lil' Kim song called Notorious that samples Duran Duran's primary single from 1986-1987, Notorious. It really sounds great! Too bad the video sucks. If you go to Poop Daddy's official site, I believe you can download a 30 second .mp3 file. Or www.cdnow.com has a sample for download. You can get the single from www.amazon.com.

If you missed the Hard Rock Live concert, you really missed out. It was fantastic. But unfortunately, www.hardrocklive.com doesn't have lots of information on Duran Duran or the show. :(
