The MYSTICAL FULLMOON began to shine for the will of
THAUMIEL (lead guitar & screams) and EQUINOXE (drums) in
October 1995; the line-up was completed by LORD EREBOR, (rhythm
guitar) and IT (bass). After some months with the defection of IT
the band was reached by ASARADEL (bass) and HAVOHEJ
(keyboards), both coming from the doomsters Ceremonial of Sadness
and ex members of Culto Notturno: these new elements contributed
to the final development of the band's style towards a technical,
melodic and atmospheric true black metal. In October 1996 Havohej
was sent away because of his musical and ideological ignorance, and
was replaced by GOTHIC, already member of the dark/doom band
Forever Fallen Darkness. This line-up was able to face important
concerts (with Mortuary Drape and Gory Blister, for example) and to
concetrate on the debut demo "Through somber passages", published
in June 1997. This tape, that contains 4 songs, was recorded in 10
hours and mixed in 3, in a 25-digital-tracks studio with the
supervision of Roberto Cabrini, ex-drummer of the historical thrash
band Bulldozer. Mystical Fullmoon are going to appear on the fourth volume of the cd-compilation "Screams from Italy", published by the italian label Dawn of Sadness, that will be probably released in March 1998. In the end of 1997, THAUMIEL left the band and his role of singer was taken by GOTHIC FULLMOON. HEXE GHOBER and ARCANUS INCUBUS joined the band. Mystical Fullmoon have signed up for Alkaid Records, the debut album will be released in Spring '98. |
